DESC offer would also postpone new inspection regime
A new government proposal on teachers' pay could signal the end of a long-running industrial dispute.
That's according to Rob Kelsall of the NAHT, which represents headteachers on the Island.
This week the Department of Education, Sport and Culture made an offer which would address a pay row, and postpone a new inspection regime.
Mr Kelsall says it's hoped this will mark the beginning of the end of the dispute:
