Some models could pose fire risk
Manx residents are being urged to check their tumble dryers to ensure they don't pose a fire risk.
The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading says a number of Hotpoint, Indesit, Creda, Swan and Proline models manufactured before September 2015 are affected.
The OFT is warning those that haven't had their dryer modified by the manufacturer should unplug it immediately and not use it.
A list of the affected dryers can be found at whirlpool.co.uk/dryerrecall.
