Hundreds of UK NHS workers being checked for Covid-19 this weekend
Being able to rapidly test key workers for coronavirus on Island would increase capacity to tackle the illness.
That's the view of Education Minister Dr Alex Allinson, as scientists in the hospital's laboratory continue work to develop a test.
The UK has been working to bring in anti-body tests, and has been testing self-isolating NHS workers this weekend to see if some can return to work.
