The chairman of Onchan Commissioners says he’s glad a vote of no confidence in his leadership didn’t go ahead as planned last night (MOnday).
Rob Callister looked as though he’d face a vote in a row over a letter to Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw about housing.
Although the letter reflected his personal views, it was sent on commissioners’ stationery – sparking the ire of some board members.
The vote, however, didn’t take place and Mr Callister says he’s glad still to be leading the local authority:
