Outgoing youth chief looks back with pride

Ken Callister retires this week

A key figure in youth projects on the Isle of Man is preparing for the end of his 22-year association with the department of education and children.

Principal Youth Officer Ken Callister has played a prominent role in a number of clubs - such as Soundcheck and Ardwhallan Outdoor Education Centre - but is retiring at the end of this week.

He's reflected on his pride at having an influence on generations of younger people on the Island.

Mr Callister described his emotions as he enters his final few days in the job
