Driver fails to stop following incident
Police are looking for a driver involved in an accident in which cyclist Owen Dudley was knocked off his bike yesterday (Sun 18)
The incident happened just after midday whilst he was heading north on the Braaid Road between St Marks and the Braaid roundabout.
The vehicle that hit him failed to stop.
It's believed to be a black coloured car that had indicators on the wing mirrors.
Owen, who won the Gran Fondo at Cyclefest two years ago, wasn't seriously hurt, but has been in hospital overnight.
If you were the driver of the vehicle involved, or have any information that could assist police with identifying the driver, please contact PC Mackenzie at Castletown Police Station on 822 222.
