David Talbot to focus on credit union
A commissioner in the west of the Island has announced he won't be standing in the Local Authority General Election in April.
David Talbot of Patrick Commissioners took to social media this morning to say he would be stepping down, to concentrate on other work.
That does not include preparing another bid to enter national politics, though, in September's General Election.
Mr Talbot says being involved with trying to set up a credit union in the Isle of Man will be his main focus:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
