Peel silt a 'huge problem' says DoI minister

3,000-4,000 tonnes per year coming in

The infrastructure minister has described the amount of silt still pouring into Peel Marina as a 'huge problem'.

And Tim Crookall says an answer as to where to put the material already removed from the facility still has to be found.

Mr Crookall is one of the area's MHKs.

In Tynwald yesterday he told Garff MHK Daphne Caine that, as far as he was aware, no silt had been put into Wright's Pit North near Bride:
