Peel Town Commissioners yet to discuss post office: Town Clerk 

The current sub postmaster has announced her intention to terminate her contract for the service

Peel Town Commissioners say they are yet to discuss the implications of the sub postmaster terminating her contract. 

Isle of Man Post Office will start seeking expressions of interest for the provision of counter services and/or parcel collection services in Peel.

It's because the current sub postmaster has announced her intention to terminate her contract for the service - triggering a six-month notice period.

Town Clerk Derek Sewell says the town commissioners are saddened by the news and thankful her for her work over the years. 

He's assured residents they are working with the Department for Enterprise to provide some additional postal services:
