MHK calls for court to safeguard Island's history
Concern over the future of the famous armed schooner ‘Peggy’ will reach the floor of Tynwald this month.
An Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK is calling for a report to be produced showing a ‘realistic timeline’ for getting the vessel back on public display in the ancient capital.
Jason Moorhouse also wants details of funding plans to enable this to happen – something he claims would safeguard the Island’s history for the ‘enjoyment and education’ of future generations.
