
A three month consultation period begins on Monday over proposals to overhaul the Island’s public sector pensions scheme.
With the cost of public service pensions rising by £38 million per year – around ten per cent – it’s clear something has to be done.
But while the union Prospect acknowledges that, it’s suggesting the proposed guidelines could amount to individuals paying more but getting less.
