New trail launched to celebrate Manx artist
A new walking trail has opened focusing on the life and work of one of the Island's most famous artists.
The Archibald Knox Trail covers 27 places of interest which detail over 60 items of his work and life.
These include gravesites, war memorials and plaques.
The Manx born artist, designer, and teacher was born on the Isle of Man in 1864 and died here in 1933.
Chris Hobdell is the managing director of the charity The Archibald Knox Forum.
He says it's important to keep his legacy alive:
The development of the trail is part of the preparation for the largest ever Knox event in the world, to be held on the Island, in 2025/26.
