EVF to introduce measure in attempt to 'deter' abuse and shoplifting
An Isle of Man petrol station is set to trial body cameras next week (22 - 28 November).
Ellan Vannin Fuels (EVF) say the equipment will be tested at the Peel Road station.
They say it is an attempt to 'deter' verbal abuse and shoplifting.
EVF add that the Isle of Man Constabulary will be able to request any footage related to an incident which can then potentially be used in court.
The station also say the results of the trial will be 'assessed' before making a decision to implement them in the future.
