Chief Minister warns of decreasing PO income
The Chief Minister says the Post Office has to be more commercial if it's to survive in the future.
Allan Bell was speaking ahead proposals in Tynwald this month which seek to turn the current post office structure - a statutory board - into a limited company.
Former Chairman - Graham Cregeen MHK - was removed from his position by the Council of Ministers after expressing his concerns about the move.
Mr Bell says CoMin have to consider the urgency of the need to change as the Post Office's income continues to decrease as competition increases.
