Police confirm death of man involved in Onchan RTC

29-year-old Jordan Thomas sustained fatal injuries

Police have confirmed a man injured in a road traffic collision last month has died.

Jordan Thomas sustained fatal injuries after the incident on Harbour Road in Onchan on 25 February.

It happened at around 7.45pm.

The 29-year-old was flown to the UK for medical treatment but the Isle of Man Constabulary has tonight (6 March) confirmed his death.

Temporary Chief Inspector Neil Craig said: "Enquiries into this investigation are continuing and we thank the public for their assistance.

“My sincere condolences are with family and friends of Mr Thomas at this difficult time.

“This investigation is ongoing and I would urge people to refrain from speculation as to the circumstances of the collision.

“I can confirm that a person has been charged in regards to this matter.

“I would ask the privacy of all is respected at this time."

Police are still appealing for witnesses who were in the area between 7pm and 8pm to contact them.
