Experts could be used elsewhere in constabulary, says officer
A member of the Island's police admits he doesn't know how officers did their jobs before working with mental health nurses.
The Isle of Man Constabulary initially brought in two nurses based at Police Headquarters last year.
Since the partnership was launched, a third nurse has been recruited to meet demand.
Inspector Gavin Callow says bringing in experts from outside policing is something that could be used elsewhere in the force:
Traders on Michael Street feel 'abandoned' by politicians in tough times
Job Centre unable to reliably identify duplicate vacancies
Airport warns high winds could impact flights
Bus talks to continue over festive season
