Robert Kissack was struck by a vehicle on Whitebridge Road
Police have confirmed the identity of the pedestrian involved in a fatal road traffic collision over the weekend.
He was 22-year-old Robert Kissack.
In the early hours of Sunday morning (29 December) Mr Kissack was struck by a vehicle on Whitebridge Road in Onchan.
The constabulary is continuing to investigate the incident and his family is being supported by specially trained family liaison officers.
While a number of witnesses have already been identified, officers are requesting anyone who may have not yet spoken to them to call police headquarters on 631212.
The Coroner of Inquests has been informed.
