Population growth and parking tickets at Noble's on Keys agenda

Are we prepared for population expansion?

How prepared would the Island be if the population did increase to 100,000?

That’s one of the subjects which will be tackled in today’s House of Keys sitting.

Former minister David Ashford asks Health Minister Lawrie Hooper what assessment has been done in terms of GP services if that population comes about, and Noble's Hospital's preparedness in that case.

He turns to the Education Minister and asks her of her Department's work to prepare. He also asks the predicted additional government income in each of the next five years, should the government strategy be delivered.

With Noble's, Jason Moorhouse MHK asks the cost of patient transfers in the last three years, and the average cost of those, and how many parking tickets issued at Noble's since 2020.

Tim Glover asks about take-up of TT Homestay, John Wanneburgh about senior roles still filled by interim post-holders.

One question that may have been overtaken by events - contact with the TT Funfair organisers?
Today's House of Keys sitting starts at 10am. You can listen live on Manx Radio AM 1368, online or on smartphone apps.
