Port Erin regeneration in final phase

Village readies itself for summer

Regeneration works in Port Erin are in the final phase - and improvements have now been made to railway station and museum access routes.

The footway on Station Road was renewed in time for upcoming Easter weekend festivities, and as the village readies itself for TT.

Other parts of the scheme now near completion and shops remain open for business, with parking readily available.

It's known to have caused some concern amongst traders.

Deputy chairman of Port Erin Traders Association, Martin Brunnschweiler, says news of delays could have been communicated sooner:

Drivers are asked to follow diversion routes marked by yellow signs.
