Ports to feature on Keys questions

Conduct standard of Tynwald members also for discussion

The eleven questions to be asked in the House of Keys this morning (23 November) range from the look of the entry to Manx ports to next year's bus timetables.

The question about the ports from Jason Moorhouse asks how entry channels are assessed for aesthetic appeal.

The Arbory, Castletown & Malew MHK also asks what independent checks there are to ensure getting on and off planes at Ronaldsway is safe and dignified.

He also wants to know about what's being done to get regular flights to Ireland.

Rushen MHK Dr Michelle Haywood will ask the Chief Minister what standards of conduct apply to Tynwald members and Ministers, and how any alleged breaches would be addressed.

Dr Haywood also wants to find out from the Infrastructure Minister, Tim Crookall, if he'll issue a notice to mariners ensuring clearly fairways are available into harbours and through other water passages which might be hard to navigate.

Elsewhere, Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh will ask Mr Crookall what plans the minister has to review and consult on 2022 bus timetables.

Today's Keys sitting is due to get underway in Douglas from 10am.
