'A question of trust' is how the local branch secretary of the Communication Workers' Union sees the current situation at the Post Office.
The CWU announced yesterday (Wednesday) that it was to ballot its members on industrial action, bringing the possibility of a postal strike a step closer.
The union claims its members are due a pay rise because the company has made a profit, while management is insisting the public sector pay freeze applies to its workers.
Jon Joughin says he's very disappointed the situation has been allowed to get to this point, and claims the Post Office has gone back on its word:
