UN describes issue as 'shadow pandemic'
A potential rise in reports of domestic abuse is expected by an Island charity offering sanctuary to victims.
Women's Refuge is run by Women's Aid, helping people and children fleeing such situations.
It follows a global increase of domestic violence, described by the UN as a 'shadow pandemic' alongside Covid-19.
Women's Aid chair person Ita McArdle says they haven't seen a spike here yet, but it is likely to happen:
