Staff and pupils at Onchan Primary School travelled back in time over 60 years today, to mark the anniversary of VE Day.
They put on period clothing and danced the afternoon away to big band music while tea and cakes were served to the onlooking guests, many of whom have been involved in the 'Tell Me' project.
Its aim has been to help the Island's schoolchildren find out more about the older generations by interviewing them directly.
Pupil Leah has learned a lot, and teacher Natalie Jones says it's been brilliant for the children:
Relatives seeking clarity over potential plans to relocate dementia patients
MHK calls for action over 'atrocious' road signage
Cruise passengers affected by downed railway lines
