23-year-old failed a drug wipe test when stopped by police
A Ballasalla man has been banned from the road for two years and ordered to work with the probation service after admitting drug driving.
Peric Fynn Warrilow, of Mylchreest Drive, was stopped in Douglas at 1.58am on 24 February when police noticed his car tax had expired.
The 23-year-old failed a drug wipe test and was arrested and taken to Police Headquarters.
Blood tests showed he was over three times the legal limit for cocaine and nearly five times over the limit for cannabis.
Imposing a 12-month probation order Magistrates also told him he'd have to pay prosecution costs and take, and pass, an extended driving test.
