
Delegates from around the world are on the Island for the Small Countries Financial Management Programme.
It's the fifth time the Isle of Man has hosted the event, which the Chief Minister helped to launch back in 2009 when he was Treasury Minister.
Twnety four officials from small and developing nations, from places such as Africa, the Caribbean Pacific and Indian Ocean regions, will attend sessions with experts on issues items including risk assessment, debt management and regulatory collaboration.
Allan Bell says the aim is to use the Island's financial expertise to help give the small nations a more poweful voice within the international community.
He says such initiatives help give an accurate picture of the Island's aims.
