PRoWL not happy with recommendations

A pressure group is calling for a report into the Langness rights of way dispute to be "wholeheartedly rejected" by Tynwald.

PRoWL (Public Rights of Way Langness) has hit out at the prospect of more land on the peninsula being closed off and the complete removal of what it argues are traditional rambling areas.

The group is also criticising a recommendation public money should be used to part-fund the appointment of a warden, carry out road repairs and pay £20,000 of the legal costs incurred by land owner Jeremy Clarkson.
