Armed Forces Day marked in Douglas
The Manx public are invited to join a public salute to the armed forces today, as veterans and serving men and women march through Douglas.
Forces' personnel from the Isle of Man and UK have travelled to the Island for Armed Forces Day, which this year marks the 70th anniversary of VE and VJ Day.
They'll parade along the capital's sea front to the Villa Marina for a church service, followed by live entertainment, refreshments and an evening dance.
Honorary Colonel Charles Wilson is on the Armed Forces Day organising committee.
He's urging local people to show support:
