Police yet to reveal details of incident
Members of the public have been thanked for their ‘patience and understanding’ after a 10-hour road closure today.
People had been asked to avoid the area of Groves Road in Douglas since around 6am.
Emergency services were dealing with an incident there which saw the route closed from the junction with the New Castletown Road through to the entrance to the NSC.
It reopened just after 4pm.
The Isle of Man Constabulary is yet to comment on the nature of the incident.
