Pulrose incident - appeal for information

Police enquiries are continuing into an alleged incident in Pulrose in the early hours of last Friday morning

They are thanking the local community for an excellent response to appeals for information, but are keen to get more.

In particular police would like to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything unusual in the Oak Avenue and Hazel Crescent area, between 1am and 4.30am on Friday.

A knife used during the alleged incident hasn't been found and police hope to issue a detailed description of it soon. However officers are asking anyone who finds a knife in the Pulrose area to let them know immediately, without touching it, unless it is absolutely necessary to do so.

A media statement says it remains an active enquiry and Police are reminding anyone directly or indirectly involved with the case that any attempt to interfere with the administration of justice will be investigated and dealt with robustly.

A man is in custody, charged with wounding with intent to murder two men.

A woman is accused of assisting an offender, in relation to the same alleged incident.
