DEFA minister says Douglas east focus is best for fishing industry
Concentrating on the east coast of Douglas is the best option for the fishing industry, and it gives way to more science.
That from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot.
It comes after DEFA made the decision to restrict queenie fishing to the one area of the Island's waters.
Mr Boot says this will enable them to look ahead more sustainably:
"We think it's inhumane the way he was treated."
