Plans have been drawn up for a new inter-governmental body which aims to improve cooperation between the Celtic countries.
The Celtic League produced its blueprint for a Celtic Council, and the resulting document was discussed at the league’s annual general meeting in Cornwall at the weekend.
Director of information Bernard Moffatt says the idea developed when a colleague heard him answer a question on the future of the organisation on Manx Radio.
In an interview, Mr Moffatt said there needed to be a reappraisal of what the Celtic League was about and what it was aiming for, in terms of co-operation between the Celtic countries:
Flu jab availability varying 'from pharmacy to pharmacy'
Police issue assurance amid concerns from Island's Jewish community
MHK calls for government to use more Manx food and drink
Bus strikes, minimum wage and meat board appointment among topics for House of Keys
