Authority urging bank to re-think the decision
HSBC's decision to make changes to its operations across the Isle of Man is being met with opposition.
Ramsey Town Commissioners has expressed 'extreme concern' at the proposed closure of the northern branch.
The bank is also intending to relocate its Douglas outlet to Strand Street.
In an email, sent to account holders, HSBC says the decision forms part of its 'commitment' to the Island.
But Commissioner Leonard Singer thinks that's questionable:

'Significant dredging works' in Douglas Harbour
'Operational reasons' and tidal restrictions delay Heysham sailing schedule
