
Up to 36 families in Ramsey face temporary rehousing because there are problems with their homes.
The concrete blocks used to build the external wall of the new Commissioners' properties are faulty, leading to cracks in the render.
The situation has been monitored since 2007 and commissioners say they're now pressing the contractor and block supplier to replace the blocks and re-render the properties.
It's not known when this may happen but all tenants have been contacted and are being kept up to date.
A spokesman says it's been concluded defective materials and NOT faulty workmanship is to blame.
