Rape victim feels 'hugely let down'

Woman says she's gobsmacked attacker could be released after receiving life sentence

The victim of a convicted rapist says she feels hugely let down by the probation service after learning her attacker is due to go before the parole committee.

The woman, who was 19 years old at the time of the attack, says she's 'gobsmacked' the rapist could be released.

The attacker received a life sentence after following the woman home and raping her.

She says victims aren't being made a priority.
