Staff told not to come into work
Family-run company Raymotors in Ramsey is going into liquidation.
The car dealership and petrol station in the town are both closed today (Wednesday).
It’s understood staff were last night informed not to come into work this morning.
The petrol forecourt is chained up and a sign outside confirms the firm is shutting with immediate effect.
Raymotors has been on the Island for approaching 70 years and has a showroom, as well as providing motor repairs, a hire facility and parts and servicing.
Management have yet to comment.
