Trevor Cowin returns to Tynwald
A Peel man says he has no plans to give up lobbying government, after presenting another petition to Tynwald yesterday.
Trevor Cowin has become a regular fixture on Tynwald Day, presenting many petitions on a range of issues.
He says he has been let down by the Island's planning system, after a proposed development near his home which he objected to went ahead anyway.
His petition this year calls on government to adopt a more rigorous appeals process.
Mr Cowin - who admits he places 'hundreds' of phone calls to the planning office every year - says he hopes to win support from politicians this time around:
DoI to change rent-setting model for public sector housingĀ
Candidates could need to declare interests to stand in 2026 General Election
Customs and Excise office to relocate
Douglas man convicted in Island's 'most complex child abuse image investigation'
