Rescheduled Santa Trains operating

The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure's Santa Trains are running today (Monday), after being postponed because of the weather on Saturday.

There are regular services to Castletown from Douglas and Port Erin, and Santa will be be in his grotto at 'Tinsel Town', in the grounds of Castle Rushen, until 5pm.

There is also a shuttle bus from Castletown station to the castle, every 15 minutes.

The last departure from Douglas to Castletown is at 4.50pm, and the final service in the opposite direction leaves Castletown an hour later.

Only three of the southbound services travel on to Port Erin, namely the ones which leave Douglas at 9.50am, 1.50pm and 5.30pm.

The Santa Trains from Port Erin are at 9.50am, 1.50pm and 5.30pm.

Tickets for Saturday are valid on any of today's trains.

Normal fares apply for train journeys only, and Santa Train tickets are available today.
