Restaurant's donation to Indian orphanage

Curry lovers are being given a chance to indulge in their favourite food, and raise money for a good cause at the same time.

The Royal India Restaurant in Peel is holding two evenings (Monday and Tuesday, March 29 and 30), at which part of the proceeds from all the meals served will go to help build an extension to an orphanage.

The initiative has been organised by the Grace Third World Fund, a Manx registered charity set up by the late Reverend Matthew Else from Peel, eleven years ago.

Chairman of the charity Ray Richardson says it's a generous donation by the restaurant and an enjoyable way to help needy children in Southern India:
