Cow Harbour closed and access to seabird colonies suspended
Measures to prevent the spread of avian flu have been introduced on the Calf of Man.
Manx National Heritage says it's taken the step after tests on dead birds recently found on the Isle of Man confirmed the presence of the virus.
The restrictions include the closure of Cow Harbour, to protect gull colonies, and suspension of access to all seabird colonies.
Disinfectant mats have been installed at the South Harbour and the situation is being kept under review.
