Hopes to raise £700,000 for equipment
Rescue figures from 2018 have prompted an appeal from the RNLI.
Lifeboat crews from the five stations around the Island were launched more than 70 times during the last year and rescued 90 people.
The Mayday campaign hopes to raise £700,000, to help fund crucial kit for the lifesaving charity.
A Mayday pack will be on offer throughout this month and will include a range of fundraising ideas. People are also encouraged to show their support on social media using the hashtag #maydayeveryday.
