
Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne says he’s swapping money from road improvement projects to make sure the Island’s current network can get more repairs.
Mr Gawne, says the road improvement budget has been slashed by nearly £1.7 million – which will now go into repairing potholes caused by severe weather.
He says many roads around the Island are in a fragile state, particularly after two hard winters.
