Young girl's mother wants better prevention measures
Road safety issues are in the spotlight after a hit-and-run collision involving a young girl near a Douglas school.
Seven-year-old Cassie-Mai Osborne was struck down on Wednesday at the junction of Allan Street and Westmoreland Road near to Henry Bloom Noble Primary School.
The incident wasn't life-threatening, but police investigations are ongoing.
Cassie-Mai suffered injuries to her hip, ribs and ankle, and is said to be 'shaken, but on the mend'.
