A review at 10.30am confirmed school sites are not safe for pupils to access.
It had been hoped schools would be able to reopen at 12.30pm if conditions improved.
The Isle of Man Government says schools are expected to reopen as normal tomorrow.
While some sites may be accessible, government says pupil and staff safety remains the top priority.
