Tribunal tests firm's 'excessive' charges
Leaseholders at the Cherry Orchard apartment complex in Port Erin say they fear a row over service charges could devalue their properties.
They're awaiting the outcome of a tribunal in the latest stage of a long-running dispute with the owners Robert and Ian Gillings.
A Rent and Rates Tribunal in 2012 ordered charges be reduced and leaseholders repaid for the overcharging - but that hasn't happened.
Ian Gillings told Manx Radio news it's complying with the tribunal's recommendations and will report back by the end of February.
Leaseholders awaiting repayment took their case back to the tribunal yesterday (19 Dec).
