A skills competition for young drivers, designed to improve standards on the Island's roads and, as a result, reduce accidents, will be held at the TT Grandstand today.
If that wasn't enough incentive to take part there's also an attractive prize, in the form of a trip for two to the Formula One Grand Prix in Belgium in the first week of September.
It's part of the Young Driver 2008 initiative and Road Safety Officer Gordon Edwards says competition, among drivers in the 16 to 25 age group, will be keen (audio file attached):
The closing date for entries was at the end of last month.
