Police say social media reports have part to play
An increase in reports of people on the TT course when roads are closed doesn't necessarily mean spectators are more badly behaved.
So says Inspector Gavin Callow.
One man has ended up in prison as a result of his actions.
But speaking on Manx Radio TT this morning (Tues) Inspector Callow said social media had a large part to play in the number of cases becoming public knowledge.
