Treasury Minister promises to discuss issue with DoI
There are still no plans to extend the horse trams to the Sea Terminal, but the Treasury Minister has promised it's something that will be looked at again.
A Tynwald order was issued in 2017 and funding granted to run them the full length of Douglas promenade.
However, because work to regenerate the prom was delayed and overbudget, the tram lines now finish at the war memorial.
Dr Allinson admits it's something that's frustrated both the public and members of Tynwald:
Garff Commissioners hosting offshore windfarm drop in session today
Public invited to suggest new brownfield site for potential re-development
Anthony Allen re-elected as chair at Onchan Commissioners
