
There’s still time to sign up as a marshal for the remainder of the Festival of Motorcycling – as what’s traditionally the toughest day for numbers approaches.
In the past it’s been hard to find the 500 or so marshals needed to man the Mountain Circuit on the Friday of Race Week because many visitors have already gone home.
This year the rebranding of the fortnight into the Festival of Motorcycling has attracted a new influx of volunteers, according to Terry Holmes of the Isle of Man TT Marshal’s Association.
