Campaigners asking for the Manx Pension Supplement to be paid to all pensioners say they will battle on, pressuring the DHSS.
Earlier this week, Minister Eddie Teare said he wouldn’t be changing eligibility rules, to pay the supplement to more people.
Derek Hartopp runs the campaigning website Justice For Pensioners dot com.
He says all pensioners who have paid National Insurance either here or in the United Kingdom deserve the bonus (audio file attached):
