Gemma Tipper wins tech grant
A local student with a passion for tech has been awarded Sure's first ever female-only STEM bursary.
Gemma Tipper from King William's Collage has been awarded the grant, which aims to encourage more girls into the world of science, tech, engineering and maths.
Dee McLoughlin is Head of Sales for Sure and says the initiative started in January after the company addressed the issue that only 5% of their technical employees were female.
